I am an economist specializing in public policy and regulation, with a strong focus on Competition Economics and Policy. I am passionate about shaping the discourse around development through evidence-based policy and research.

My expertise extends beyond competition regulation to include the application of human behavioural insights in development contexts, allowing for a more holistic approach to addressing socio-economic challenges.

Building on this foundation, I am expanding my focus to include digital transformation, governance, and AI policy. I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies can be harnessed to transform markets, improve public service delivery, and enhance everyday life, especially for vulnerable and underserved communities. I currently serve as a Competition Analyst at the National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA).
